William and Maggie Jaenecke built this home in 1904. The Louisiana Press Journal reports on May 19, 1905, “The residence property on west Georgia street recently purchased by Ras Person from Mrs. George Estes was exchanged by Mr. Pearson Wednesday for the William Jaenecke property across the street. Mr. Pearson paid a difference. Mr. Jaenecke will move next Monday and give Mr. Pearson possession of the property. This one of the handsomest and most modern homes in the city, and was recently built by Mr. Jaenecke.”
Ras Pearson and his wife Lallah Pearson lived in this home until 1931 when Ras, a prominent attorney in northeast Missouri, succumbs to a heart attack. The Thornton and Lenna Stark make 1114 Georgia street their home on December 7, 1931.
