This was the farm house of Francis & Mary Flegle
Francis Marion Flegle was born August 26, 1846 in Goshen, Ohio to Jacob Martin and Eva Flegle. He was living in Louisiana by the 1870 census with his parents and seven brothers and sisters. He married Mary Ann Shepherd in 1873. She was born to Andrew and Minerva Lane Shepherd on September 26, 1847 in Cuivre, Missouri. The 1880 census stated that his occupation was selling stoves and hardware. He purchased the farm which is now 3210 Georgia Street on March 3, 1895. The 1900 census showed his occupation as a miller. Francis sold the farm on March 19, 1903. Mary died on October 10, 1914 and Francis passed on March 24, 1915. They were both buried in St. Louis.
